Our family moved to Whangarei from the Hokianga in the 1950’s. We have been farming this area ever since and in 2004 we began THE CHOOK FARM to meet the growing demand for Free Range eggs in our region. We know that the care we put into our land has a direct impact on the health and welfare of our livestock and the quality of product that we produce. That is why we strive to provide our chooks with the best environment, planting trees for shelter, winter garden for scratching and foraging as well as plenty of space for them to stretch their wings and legs.
